Things that go up fall down, but they don't have to stay down!
We learn that life doesn't always move in a straight line but often zigzags. How do we navigate those challenges and move forward into the future without allowing those things to become anchors dragging us back into the dark? With grace, grit, and God, we must learn from the past and be willing to move forward.
Not striving but submitting.
Anger is shallow but often runs deep. We need more than anger. We need depth. The moment demands depth.
Love!
Peacemaking!
Restoring harms!
Looking deep into our wounds and becoming willing to be both the healer and the healed.
We come offering what we have, knowing that this is enough. We don't know all, but we know that we are enough. When we are insufficient and insignificant, Christ is more than enough. He is sufficient and significant. We are never alone! We are loved by the one who knows and sees.
We must find our healing in the healer, our life in the life-giver, our peace in the prince of peace, and our light in the light!
Without His presence in our lives, we are hopeless. We are ultimately broken, but in Him, we have hope! If we forget this, we are doomed to be overcome by the waves of life! They crash over us and onto us! They are too much for us! Don't get pulled down by the currents.
Our pride, selfishness, rebellion, lies, and hatred must stay down. These must die, but we are called to live with Him! to follow Him, even though it means daily taking up our cross and following.
